OUR LOVE STORY
THE BEGINNING
Danny and I originally met through his oldest sister. During the summer months I babysat for her and her husband. In 2010 I took a family trip with The Arnold and The Rieffenberger clan to Orlando, FL. Danny and I spent alot of time together over this seven day trip. We spent a couple of days in Disney World. I love amusement parks and definitly enjoy rides that give you a thrill. Danny at the time, made me believe that he too enjoyed them. We sat next to eachother and waited in line together for hours. Throughout this short time frame Danny quickly changed my persepctive on life in general. I had never met anyone that made me laugh uncontrollably and appreciate every moment of each day quite like he did. I returned from the trip and knew nothing would ever be the same. When I got home I was convinced that I was going to marry him. A year after we finally started dating, Danny confided in me that he hated every single ride we went on in Disney World. He conquered his fear of heights just to sit next to me. Here we are five years later and WE are finally tying the KNOT!
THE ENGAGEMENT
The Christmas season came quickly this past year. Danny and I made the executive decision to not exchange gifts. Little did I know that I was going to wake up Christmas morning to a beautiful, engagement ring. Danny woke me up the morning of the 25th around 8:30 AM. For those of you that know Danny especially well you know that it is very unlikely for him to get out of bed before 12:00 PM. Danny suprised me with candles, Christmas music, and a tub full of bubbles. While soaking in the tub and enjoying this moment, a rubber ducky floated closer to me. I quickly discovered my engagment ring taped to the top of the rubber duckies head. I truthfully could not move for a good minute or so. After shouting with excitement and repetitively asking Danny "Is this real?", I said YES. This was the best Christmas gift I have ever recieved and a special memory that we will share forever. I am so estatic about becoming Danny's wife, and honestly still a little shocked that he finally asked!
